Durable Braided is made from soft recycled cotton in the form of a braided cord, making it an ideal yarn for macramé projects and very suitable for beginning crocheters or knitters.
The cotton is 100% recycled and the yarn is Oekotex standard 100 class 1 certified. This certification indicates that the yarn does not contain any harmful substances that could be harmful to health and the environment. Product class 1 is the highest class and applies for example to textiles and toys made of textiles for babies and toddlers, which makes Durable Braided very suitable for children's projects. The beautiful cotton appearance and the strength of the yarn makes it ideal for home deco projects such as baskets, plant hangers, bags, cushions and wall hangings.
The ball has a cylindrical shape which makes it easy to work from the middle of the ball, whereby it stays in place and the cord does not get tangled. Multiple balls are also easy to stack because of this.
Durable Braided is a 5 mm thick braided cord yarn made from 100% recycled soft cotton. This applies to both the core and the braided exterior. There are 100 meters on a ball of approx. 480 grams and the recommended thickness of a needle is 8 - 10 mm.
